The Holiday Tidy
Find more joy and less stress during the holiday season with our special menu of pre- and post-holiday services. We can unpack and set up decorations, prep guest rooms and bathrooms, spruce up entryways, and even wrap gifts. Each January we are available to take down, organize, label, and put away all of your holiday decor so it is ready to go for the next year. We’ll even shop for storage products if you need them!
Maintainance Memberships
Exclusively for our loyal clients - let us do the upkeep for you! Once a professional organizer has created order, we will return to your home for short maintenance visits. This could include quarterly de-cluttering sessions, seasonal swap-outs, or post-holiday put-away. Having already learned your style and preferences, your organizer can work with or without you there.

Process
Phase 1: Needs Assessment
Each home organizing project begins with a needs assessment and goal-setting discussion that includes a tour of the areas of concern. This conversation lays the foundation for our work together.
During this discussion, we will talk about your lifestyle as it relates to your organizing needs: What do you want? What is working? What is not working? We then discuss your habits and preferences: Do you like open or closed storage? Do you like to hang your jeans or fold them? When we have a sense of what your needs and space limitations are, we come up with a personalized, step-by-step plan detailing what we are going to do and how we are going to do it.
Phase 2: Sort & Edit
Phase 2 always begins with a sort and edit of items in the space. If we are working side-by-side with you, it is our role to keep you focused and efficient, and prevent you from getting overwhelmed. If we are working on our own, we are sorting according to the plan that we developed together. In an effort to keep waste to a minimum, we also set aside donations that are in good enough condition to be re-used, re-sold, or recycled. The sorting part of the process usually takes up the bulk of the session.
Phase 3: Organize & Style
Once everything that no longer belongs is out of the space, we create systems and find homes for your things. Containers and labels are added so that you can find what you want quickly and easily. Based on your preferences, we can either re-purpose the containers and organizing tools you might already own, or purchase new ones that fit your needs better and give the spaces a fresh, new look.
Finally, when everything is in its place, we talk about maintenance. For us, this is a very important part of the process. We give you tips and techniques, specifically for your space and habits, which you can use to maintain the order long term.
At the end of each session we take your donations to organizations that serve people who really need them, and drop off textiles, electronics, and hazardous chemicals at designated recycling facilities.
Typically, Phase 1 lasts 30 to 60 minutes and Phase 2 & 3 lasts 4 to 6 hours.
